Look what you all have done

Just got back from Playa del Carmen, Mexico (friends' wedding). It was 6 glorious days of eating, drinking tropical cocktails (and a drunk game of Jenga that I'd like to forget about) and quality time with our crazy-fun friends. And reading about pale vampires while sunning ourselves on the beach, of course. The irony!

(I guess I'm the latest to be bitten. I even feverishly tried to hunt down the 2nd book of the series while at the airport on the way home. The clerk led me to the "Teen Lit" section (how embarassing) of the store only to inform me that they were sold out.)

I hope to catch up on everyone's blog posts as well as get back to posting soon.

Missed you all!

  1. Lol - D's gonna be so excited. Pale vampires in Mexico are totally appropriate. I still haven't seen the movie, but I'm struggling through book 4 - I think I took in too many vampires in one sitting.

  3. Yay your back! Sounds like you had fun. 6 days in Mexico always sounds like fun. You must show some pics. I'm glad you got addicted to Twilight. I became an obsessed woman when I read it. I loved book 4! Emily keep reading it get's good.

I like you also found it completely silly when the girl at the bookstore directed me to the teen section. oh well.

  6. I too love Twilight, I actually saw the movie for the second time last night. It's not the best acting and there are parts missing. However that was expected. No movie has ever been as good or better than the book. I'm reading the Host right now, I think I might start book 1 and 2 again cause "Santa is bringing me 3& 4" I borrowed 3 & 4 the first time. I couldn't stop the cravings.

  10. Is the "Twilight" series really all that good? I can't find any interest in reading them despite all of the hype.

(I'm still in denial that there won't be another Harry Potter.)
