Because snails are faster than we are, we still have to install the new toilet.
But I couldn't resist this little peek into our almost-completed bathroom.
(My goodness, I hope I haven't built up this bathroom reveal so much that

you'll be sorely disappointed =)
Looks great so far. Can't wait to see the full pictures.
ReplyDeleteLove the faucet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a tease. That faucet is beautiful, and I've never seen a floor vent that gorgeous. It's going to be phenomenal, now show us the whole thing!!!
ReplyDeleteI want that floor vent. Where did you find it? I also can't wait to see the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteThat's just not right! The anticipation is to much! I love all the little touches. The the faucet is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWell, knowing what an awesome job you did on your kitchen, it's unlikely it will disappoint!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. That tile is to. die. for. Can't wait to see the finished product!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Sorry to all. The rest of the room is still in shambles and being the control freak/perfectionist that I am....well you know.
ReplyDeleteThe floor vent is actually from Lowe's! $13! It's the little details, I tell ya =)
The floors look great and I have agree with the rest who love the floor vent. We went with plain white for the new house, since the trim is white, but after some further thinking, we'll have to snatch up something like this, cause our main floor has dark, dark java flooring. But we have no Lowe's here... so I'm off to research!
ReplyDeletelove the monogrammed towels. :)
ReplyDeleteConfessions of a Shopaholic took me 1 day to read - it was really fun & quick! I haven't seen the movie yet (planning to soon!) but I would recommend the book if you're in the mood for light, easy entertainment in between renovations. :)
I am seriously dying here. Like if you don't give it to us quick, I will be officially dead. Is that what you want Freckles?! Mostly dead readers!?!? Please hurry...
ReplyDeleteUgh, I can't stand it either! But I'll think of these teaser shots as delectable appetizers to the incredible meal that I will have soon.
ReplyDeleteI think you are going to be late for work every day because you won't be able to tear yourself away from the gorgeousness that is your new bathroom.
I love the fixtures. They are rocking my world.
ReplyDeleteI know I will not be anything but thrilled to see it all together.
I am going nuts...like for real..
ReplyDeleteOMG! I want to see more! The fixture is amazing, and, hello, I love the slate floor and floor vent! How many more sleeps, FC, until the unveiling?
ReplyDeleteOK, STUNNING!!!! Where's the fixture from?
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!! Believe me, I can't wait to share it with you all either.
ReplyDeleteJB~ LOL, just what I need, another reason to be late for work. Like I'm not already cursed by the snooze button. =)

Wow--looks great so far! I love the vent too and I don't think the marble basketweave tiles have anything over yours ;)
ReplyDeleteeee!! I'm so excited!!! :)
ReplyDeleteIf thats what the sneaky peak looks like, then I doubt the big reveal will disappoint! THose snippets look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSuch a tease...I'm half way through a bath reno myself and I'm living vicariously through all the bloggers who are finishing up theirs!
ReplyDeleteI have to ask...what color grout did you use? I like it a lot. I've bought grout three times now because I keep changing my mind. This last time, I bought two colors, hoping there would be a sign before the tile guy shows up tomorrow. I consider your blog post my sign.
Upstart~
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the grout brand (it's from Home Depot) but the color is "Natural Gray". During application when the grout was wet, it looked more like charcoal. It eventually dried to this light gray color.
Hope that's the sign you're looking for =)
I can't wait to see it!!!!!!! I'm seriously wanting to change out my floor vents for the one you chose - it's so pretty! I have brass ones everywhere - ugh! I just love all of your design choices.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the rest!
ReplyDeleteI sooo heart monograms, lady! We have a very similar towel in our guest bath. :o)
ReplyDeleteP.S. This post is from one freckled chickie to another!
Have a lovely weekend,
Kelly
