Still here! I am so sorry for the lack of posts.
I have no excuse other than this totally lame one: my day job & our consulting biz are kicking my ass and taking names. Seriously considering taking a personal day just so I can curl up with a latte whilst catching up on much-needed blog reading.
In other news, we're currently mourning the Hawkeyes' first (and hopefully only) loss of the season. It was heartbreaking. I might have thrown a shoe at the TV. We might have been at a crowded sports bar. It might have landed near someone's nachos. Damn you, Northwestern & your wiley Wildcat ways.

Moving on. Mr. FC & I finally tackled a project that's been on our list for months. Fellow home renovaters can attest to this: why is it that when you check a project off your list, you always seem to add 5 more to it? Oy!
It's not 100% completed yet, but here's a not-so-subtle hint:
More to come; thanks for sticking with me!
Oh goody, I can't wait! Those tiles look familiar! :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see more!! I know what you mean about always adding to the "to do" list! I totally do the same thing!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see the finished product! Ooh baby. And your poor Hawks. All I can say is, at least you're not a Buffs fan this year.
ReplyDeleteOh yay can't wait to see the tile done! I also have that never ending to-do list. Must be the life of home owner!
ReplyDeleteHey! Oooh, so excited about this space. I can't even imagine how you'll make your beautiful kitchen even lovelier, but I know you will!
ReplyDeleteLove the tile and I can't wait to see the finished product. I also feel your pain about the never ending list. But looking on the bright side, it gives you plenty to blog about (at least that is what I tell myself).

ReplyDeleteOMG YOU ARE RETILING YOUR ENTIRE BRICK WALKWAY WITH TINY MARBLE TILES.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
Right? Do I win? :D
Wait. Why are people talking about your kitchen? Man, they must be confused.
ReplyDeleteAlso, are you sure you want to do tiny marble tiles outside in this weather? I think a much more practical solution would be LEGO's, personally.
