I've got a fun giveaway today sponsored by OrqueShaw's Walldecors!
The day I discovered them was a serendipitous day indeed. I had been on a year-long search to add some visual interest to a wall in our bedroom, but nothing seemed to fit the elusive vision floating in my head. I was searching for that unique "wow" factor.
After fruitlessly combing the internet for affordable (and more importantly: stylish, unique & chic) vinyl wall decals, I finally found what I envisioned. Orqueshaw's Walldecors offers exquisitely unique decals for a fraction of the prices most designer decals out there command. Even more tantalizing: most designs can be customized to a color or size of your specification! All of their decals are computer die-cut, there are no "edges" nor "backgrounds", so all you get is the wonderful image. These folks kindly and expertly created my branches in the soft, lustrous gold I requested. Custom orders are completely welcome.
Not to mention, their customer service is impeccable. I received my order quickly and without issues (the decal was packaged in a protective tube, complete with photo/step-by-step instructions for flawless application). Application is so easy! NOTE: I have textured walls and while it did take a bit more elbow grease to apply the decal, it stuck like a pro (they are VERY sticky). So these will work on slightly textured walls (or a great alternative would be a mirrored or glass surface). Granted, I had to put down my glass of wine, but that was as difficult as it got. Much easier than painting--instant gratification.
These decals are a great way to add refreshing style to your walls without damaging them or breaking the bank. They're also a fantastic alternative for those who rent and can't paint their walls. I hope you all get a chance to peruse their extensive collection of decals!
Enough of my rambling, let's get to the goods.
The generous folks over at OrqueShaw's Walldecors are giving away this tree decal (below)
to one lucky reader (in a color of your choice).
I love this modern tree with the bird silhouettes perched whimsically on the branches. Imagine it in black for a high-contrast look, white for a fresh effect, metallic for an edgey interpretation. Or in any color you wish! I can even see it in a nursery or child's room; once it's applied, how brilliant would it be to add your own tissue or fabric leaves/blooms to the decal for a 3-d spin? The possibilities are endless, my friends.
Simply leave a comment with the words "STICK IT".
And just for fun, tell me where you'd hang this whimsical decal?
Limited to one entry per reader, please.
The winner will be selected by random.org.
This giveaway will be closed at 7pm MST on Sunday, April 11, 2010.
I will post the winner the next day.
Good luck to all!
