I ran in to Target* the other day for stuff (toilet paper, paper towels, the latest issue of People mag**....you know, just the essentials) & couldn't resist racing thru their home décor collection aisle (Quinn was getting fussy....come on girl, mama needs her décor fix). I haven't gotten excited about their last few collections but am really digging this season's***. I'm sure people all over Blogland have posted this, but here are some items that caught my eye:

* In college, when Target started getting fancy, my friends & I would call the one in the ritzy neighborhood "Tarjay" & the one in the not-so-ritzy neighborhood "Targhetto".
** I feel slightly less guilty for reading People. Forget Us Weekly & CNN; if I see it in People then it's like, real news.

The Target by me is 100% Targhetto-- and it's not even in a bad neighborhood! It just SUUUUCKS. Target in Plymouth Meeting and I have been on the outs for nearly 3 years. I keep going back to it, thinking it has changed, but it hasn't. My mother doesn't approve. My friends keep telling me I'm being foolish. But.. if I love Target hard enough, it will change, right? *sniff*
Anyway... that yellow pillow, bottom row in the middle.. I lurrrve it. I am eyeing up the kitchen for the next make-over and I am loving all things pretty and yellow. Would I be a horrible person if I got a bunch of pillows and made them into seat cushions?
..please. As if I was *that* crafty ;)

I like this new vibe Target has going on, too. I scored that gold and cream chevron pillow the other day and I love it.
NO no, don't show me this! I don't need any more pillows, sadly. I also love People but yet I hate them for charging so much and not having subscriptions for $20 a year like Entertainment. Poo on them.

I was in there yesterday and noticed a bunch of the same stuff...especially those lampshades and chevron pillows. Love!
I did NOT see those pillows but would of had a heart attack if I did. Those are beautiful! Hope Q is sleeping for you!
