Our living room was clean for more than ten minutes, so I did some silly styling & furiously took photos. I didn't choose the best day to snap photos as it was intermittently cloudy & glaringly sunny. Oh well, I had to seize the moment!
The living room looked like this a couple years ago. With the addition of the basement family room, this room gets less 'family time' use these days. Not a ton has changed. I've since given the fireplace tile surround a makeover & there are a few new pieces in the mix. The rug could stand to be a bit larger & eventually we'll get a 'proper' coffee table in here.....but for now it's fairly Quinn-proof & a happy place to chill (or not chill).
|I don't think I've shown this angle before. The front door/entryway is to the left.|
That basket is full of Quinn's toys. A tall fiddle leaf fig in this corner would be nice but I can't seem to keep those things alive.

I'm a fan of the campaign look, or at least faking the look (as I did last year with these brass corners). I'm not sure whose original idea it was to simply add brass corner braces from the hardware store ($2/set of 4) to picture frames, but I was most recently inspired by the fabulous Jen. I might not do color, but I do love me some shine.
I'm totally kidding you with this setup. #bloggerproblems
I have a sassy toddler, after all.
There, that's reality around here.
Too close to the iPad, too young for Good Luck Charlie.
Too not listening to her Mum (again).
Not my proudest parenting moment. ;-)
