I stumbled on your blog Googling ceramic tile plank style and just wanted to say I hope you keep posting, even if it isn't frequently! I've loved looking at your house pictures - we're moving into our first home soon and I can't wait to renovate. Also, your beautiful dog looks so much like mine from when I was growing up it brought tears to me eyes! (He was a golden retriever/border collie mix). Sorry that you lost him recently :( Stephanie

Hi - I just read your blog entries about your kitchen remodel. I love everything you did (especially the marble tile) and I too have a tiny small kitchen space that we are updating on a budget. Could you tell me what countertops you have and where you got them? Thanks so much!
Thanks, Holly! Our countertops are laminate counters from Home Depot from 2008. I *think* the color was called 'Smoke' (it's a charcoal grey). Pretty inexpensive & very durable. Hope this helps!
